Student Project Assessment

Under the guidance of U.S. senior engineers, students will work as teams (4 students in each team) to complete the following project:

You will be part of a robotics engineering team for designing a robotics solution to solve a problem.

1) Identify a global problem which is difficult to be solved by human being;

2) Come up with the global market requirements for a robotic solution;

3) Do research on existing robotic solutions

4) Propose improvements to the exiting robotic solutions Students Deliverables:

• International Standards, Regulations, and Professional Societies
• Existing Solutions
• Proposed Improvements
• Reflection on Project The student project must show:
• Teamwork management
• Professional responsibility/ethics
• The role of the engineer in society
• Sustainable engineering
